  1. Install the Jellyfin app (Play Store / App Store; it's also on most smart TVs).
  2. When it asks for a server, type https://watch.bullinuc.duckdns.org
  3. Sign in with the username and password Patrick gave you.
  4. Smart TV that's awkward to type on? Pick Quick Connect on the TV, then enter the code on your phone: Jellyfin → your profile picture → Quick Connect.

Ask for a film or show

Seerr — search, tap Request, done.

  1. Open it in Chrome (or Safari) and sign in with your Jellyfin username and password.
  2. Search, tap Request. It's approved automatically and usually ready within a few hours.
  3. Get a ping when it's ready: Chrome menu ⋮ → Add to Home screen, open it from there, then your profile → Settings → Notifications → Web Push → turn on and allow notifications.

Audiobooks & ebooks

Audiobookshelf — remembers where you're up to on every device.

  1. Install the Audiobookshelf app (Play Store / App Store).
  2. Server address: https://listen.bullinuc.duckdns.org
  3. Sign in with your Audiobookshelf login (a separate one — ask Patrick).
  4. Tap the download arrow on a book to keep it on your phone for the car or a plane.
  5. Ebooks are in the Ebooks library (switch libraries at the top) and open in the built-in reader.

Ask for a book or audiobook

Shelfmark — like Seerr, for books.

  1. Sign in with your Shelfmark login (ask Patrick).
  2. Search by title or author, pick Audiobook or Ebook, and request it.
  3. When it's downloaded it appears in Audiobookshelf by itself, usually within minutes.
  4. Can't find it? Try the author's name only, or ask Patrick to look it up by hand.

Android apps from Patrick

Download the Updater app (Android only). Open the file, allow "install unknown apps" for your browser when asked, then open Updater — it keeps Patrick's apps up to date from now on, at home or away.

If something isn't working

  1. Buffering away from home? In the player tap the settings cog → Quality → pick a lower one.
  2. Locked out after a few wrong passwords? Wait an hour, or message Patrick.
  3. Everything down at once? The internet at home is probably out — it'll come back on its own.
